The open-source visual editor for cloud infrastructure.
ICE
ICE is Light Cloud's open-source side. It is a visual editor for cloud infrastructure: drag blocks onto a canvas, connect them, preview the cost, and deploy to your own cloud accounts.
ICE is separate from the platform. The platform deploys your app to Light Cloud's managed infrastructure. ICE deploys infrastructure to your own GCP, AWS, or Azure accounts, and the whole project is Apache 2.0.
Where to learn more
- Light Cloud Labs is the overview of ICE, its blocks, and templates.
- ICE on the website covers what is in the editor and how it works.
- GitHub has the source, issues, and releases.
Provider support
GCP is the mature target. AWS and Azure ship the main primitives and are experimental. A few more providers are in preview. See the providers page.
